How It Works
Aminopolycarboxylate chelator with high affinity for Fe3+ and Cu2+ ions. Prevents metal-catalyzed oxidation of Vitamin C and formula discoloration. Readily biodegradable, unlike conventional EDTA.
Why BP Derma Uses It
We chose Dissolvine over conventional EDTA because it is fully biodegradable while delivering superior chelating performance. It is critical in our Vitamin C formulations, where trace metals would otherwise rapidly destroy the actives.
