How It Works
Lipophilic beta-hydroxy acid that uniquely penetrates sebum-filled pores. Dissolves the intercellular cement between corneocytes for exfoliation. Directly antimicrobial against P. acnes bacteria.
Why BP Derma Uses It
Salicylic Acid is uniquely suited for acne-prone and oily skin because its oil solubility allows it to enter pores where AHAs cannot reach. We use it in our BHA-focused products for deep pore cleansing and acne prevention.
