How It Works
Medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) from coconut or palm kernel oil with a C8:C10 fatty acid ratio providing lightweight, non-greasy emolliency. Serves as an excellent carrier oil for lipophilic actives including retinol, tocopherol, and bakuchiol.
Why BP Derma Uses It
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is our preferred emollient base for serums and creams. It provides luxurious slip and spreadability without clogging pores, and it protects our oil-soluble actives from oxidation.
